This week, I built something fun: a smart WhatsApp bot that replies like it actually gets you.
A received a lot of messages to share the full tutorial and here it is:
It uses n8n, the WhatsApp Business API, and an AI agent powered via an LLM — and it works like magic.
🛠️ How It Works:
WhatsApp Trigger – I set up a trigger in n8n to catch incoming messages using the Business API.
Send to LLaMA – The message goes straight to an AI agent that understands intent and writes a structured reply.
Reply via WhatsApp – That reply is sent back using the WhatsApp module. Instant conversation, zero code.
The whole thing runs smoothly in n8n — trigger → AI → reply — like a perfect little loop of automation.
