Hello Everyone,
I'm excited to share the experiences from my week with you all!
My new DIY project
On Saturday I decided to make a new project to make a car sim version 3. All the others have gone old and don’t use my new tech yet.
But Saturday is one of the busiest days of the week so I made it in 45 minutes, that’s pretty impressive to make this in such a short time!
Learning React!
This week I’m going to make an increment counter in React.
React is a popular JavaScript library used for building user interfaces, particularly single-page applications where you need a fast and dynamic user experience.
React allows you to create reusable components, making it easy to manage complex interfaces.
It operates on a virtual DOM, which optimizes the update process, leading to better performance.
Increment Counter Plan: This week, I’ll be working on a simple React project to create an increment counter.
I’ll start by setting up a new React project using tools like create-react-app
.
Then, I'll create a functional component that manages the counter's state using the useState
hook.
The counter will have a button that, when clicked, increases the count by one.
This exercise will help me understand the basics of state management and how to update the UI in response to user actions.
Making a Scratch car sim!
I’m excited to share that I’m working on a car simulator in Scratch! 🚗💨
It’s a game where you can drive a car, navigate obstacles, and enjoy cool driving dynamics—all within Scratch’s user-friendly environment.
Current Progress:
Steering Controls: Arrow keys to navigate the car.
Radio and wipers: So it’s realistic
Graphics and Sound: Adding visuals and sound effects.
What’s Next? I’m finalizing the game, tweaking controls, and polishing graphics, aiming to complete it soon. The best part has been the learning experience and bringing ideas to life.
Anyways,
Now I have a 19 day Streak on Duolingo!
And a 4-week Streak on Khan Academy!
