Hello Everyone,
I'm excited to share the experiences from my week with you all!
So I am travelling with my mom in Udaipur, Rajasthan this week.
After Jaipur, we reached Udaipur.
We spent 3 days at Swaraj University, an alternative educational institution in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India.
Founded in 2010, it emphasizes self-designed learning, ecological sustainability, and social entrepreneurship.
I had a lot of fun there, I made a new friend to play with and there was a cycle so I could ride it after months!
Swaraj University’s campus was beautiful, surrounded by trees and nature.
At night it was fun making songs and jokes on the terrace with everyone.
We also volunteered to clean up the library, which was a fun experience.
One day we also visited Farmversity, located in Jhadol near Udaipur.
It’s an experiential learning centre that focuses on sustainable agriculture and rural development.
After Swaraj on Saturday, we came to a friend’s home to get to see the city and visit Halchal Cafe, an initiative by Shikshantar, located in Udaipur.
Shikshantar is an institute for rethinking education and development, promoting learning beyond traditional school systems.
Halchal Café serves as a community space where people can gather, share ideas, and participate in various activities such as workshops, discussions, and cultural events.
Anyways,
I am reading Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix,
Stay tuned for more updates on my learning adventures!
